Types and characteristics

There are different types of empty cannons, which depending on their size and the filling we use, will have a different scope:

• 80 cm barrel : This barrel can be used in open or very large spaces. If it is filled with confetti or something similar, it will have a range of about 9 meters, in the case of filling with streamers the range will be greater, being able to reach 14 meters.

• 50 cm cannon : In the case of this type of cannon the scope is ideal to cover medium spaces, like the 80 cm cannon, the range will be greater if it is filled with streamers instead of confetti, with a minimum of 6 meters.

• 30 cm cannon : The 30 cm empty cannon can be filled with confetti or streamers, having a range of 5 to 7 meters, depending on the filling and the way to operate it.

How are they used?

This type of cannon has 2 segments, the upper one will contain the load you want to add, while the lower segment contains the compressed air charge that will allow the launch of the material arranged in the upper section.

At the time of use you will have to remove the plastic cap that it has on the top, in addition to the security seal, which divides both parts of the barrel. Then you will hold the lower part of the barrel with your dominant hand and with the other hand the upper part, in this way you can calmly operate the barrel, turning to the left.

Precautions and warnings for use

It is essential that you refrain from drilling holes in the barrel surface, in addition to avoiding exposure to high temperatures, as this can deteriorate the barrel gas.

When the time comes to make the detonation, raise your arms as high as you can, in this way you will avoid possible accidents with the confetti cannon.

In order to avoid damage to the attendees of the event, it is important that the person who is going to execute the launch verifies that the cannon is not pointed at any of the guests, for this it is recommended to place it in a completely horizontal position or tilt it up.
